Watercolors of Russian interiors from long before the revolution had been thought of let alone come. Mid 19th century. Luigi Premazzi, artist (1814-1891). Italian but he mostly painted in Saint Petersburg, keeping busy doing watercolors of rooms in the tsar’s palaces.

Watercolors that belonged to Victoria and Albert. Queen Victoria commissioned a series of albums of places she and her husband loved or had visited. These are three of the pictures, two from a visit to Albert’s childhood home and a later one of her birthday table at Osborne.
