Plates showing the tracery from the paneling belonging to England’s Carlisle Cathedral, or rather what’s left after a 1746 “beautification” campaign; these are from the chapel the beautifier decided to leave alone. From R. W. Billings’s “Illustrations of Geometric Tracery, from the Panelling Belonging to Carlisle Cathedral, 1842.” No exact date on the traceries but around 1500.
