Mostly blue and white mountains covered with sparkly ice by Russian painter Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947). Did a lot of theatrical work too but those I’ve got living over on Facebook.

These mountain pictures of the Himalayas aren’t for me. They are a memory of my beloved grandmother Genevieve P. Growing up in Denver, Colorado surrounded by the Rocky Mountains she married a man from a part of upstate New York with mountains that must have looked like little hills. Traveling the world with her husband three times she made special trips to see mountains including Mount Kilimanjaro, the Matterhorn and Mount Everest.
