It was associated with a children’s magazine and several books published in England.

The firm behind Peter Parley published at least five children’s books under the Peter Parley brand. This one reminds me of Neil Ferrier’s Princess Margaret’s Wedding Book which was published in 1960, the year I think she was married. One of my parents’ friends gave a copy to myself and my sister. We looked at it for hours. Loved the pictures, the bridesmaids’ dresses, etc. etc. We had two of these and I think the other one was of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
