Portraits by French artist Jean Fouquet. Living from 1420 to 1481, he was on the cusp of the Renaissance as it came in. The gentlemen in red, blue and gold immaculately well behaved but the lady posing as the Virgin Mary being the mistress of the gentleman in the other picture . . . whether that’s his baby she is holding we don’t get to know . . . . .more’s the pity. . .
On a voyage to see how much mileage I can get from the creative ability and eye for images that my family thought was useless. On line art curator, fiction writer and now blogger. Historian's daughter. Follow me . . .even I have no idea where I'm going next.
