Gold printed brocade relief specimens. Five in all. Created in Augsburg and Nuremberg, Prussia (Germany) in 1720-1820. Various makers. Made from an engraved copperplate, heated and covered with imitation gold leaf. From the website of rare bookseller Michael Laird.
