sparking on air on the tip of a pine cone off in the forest as the tiny gnomes in the dell get ready to feast with their fairy friends as soon as they finish stretching their wings so they can fly over . . . frost for icing drifting over the tops of the fruit cakes and a bowl of wassail from somewhere . . . better be careful. . . drink too much of it and you can’t get six inches up a tree trunk let alone walk anyone home . . . don’t do that and they won’t come back the next time . . .too many gnomes and only a few fairy princesses so they are mighty picky . . .
