effervescing on air on the sigh of a mallard duck diving for her dinner as off in some dusty old college museum closet the tiny people on the Ancient Minoan shelf smile . . . a hint of light from under the door and hope . . . twenty years vaulting over the same bull . . . the gods needing to be appeased but a person needing to do something else and be the sailors with their ship on the Egyptian shelf . . . soon . . . please soon . . .
