Published by Warenhaus Hermann Tietz. Hermann Tietz was one of the great department stores of Berlin. Jewish owned, it was “Aryanized” by the Nazis in the mid 1930s with the Tietz family forced to sell.

Not sure how this ended up in the collections of a Polish university but I’m thinking that someone went on a trip to Berlin in 1910, bought this book as a souvenir and then brought it home and stuck it in their bookcase where their descendants later found it and donated it.
