A semi light lunch and off to Ransohoffs for the afternoon. A daughter in need of a trousseau before she marries hubby number 2. Might as well spend big what with three ex husbands to cover the bills. Not in need of an economy special for sure. Ransohoffs was a womens specialty store in San Franciso. It closed in 1976.

I found all of these on Calisphere with is the archive of the Universities of California though it has public library collections too. You click through to the collection your image is in to pick them up. Calisphere is grand! It has lots of movie stars, Rose Bowl Parades, and all sorts of fun things. Also an amazing collection of agricultural images showing workers harvesting crops, screen after screen of labels for citrus fruit, etc. etc.
