meandering on air as the dragons atop each weathervane inch free and begin to swarm . . . like birds but somehow not the same . . . tongues of fire a foot long and gilded talons that sparkle in the sun . . . but no . . . it’s the children they are after . . . .more dragon babies they must need and not enough born . . .
