effervescing on air on the tip of a hyancinth reaching for the sun as a few blocks away something starts . . . just a parking lot as far as anyone remembers but before . . . a church hall until it fell down one night . . . but noise . . . used to be dances there and Christmas tableaux up on the stage . . . nothing to do now but sit and wait . . . hush it’s coming back . . . if you are very quiet it will be back sooner . . .
