whispering on air as somewhere on the western shore the children take their seats and the music begins . . . a festival and no school . . . what else does anyone need to have fun . . . bracelets to bead and dollies to dress . . . a song or two . . . more to want later but a memory of a dream day that will never end even if you live to be older than nana’s mama and that’s very old indeed.
