Sparking on air on the smile of a baby glacier as somewhere closer to where the mountains meet the sky a smile and then a fiddler’s call . . . a square dance party in the old college gym . . . fun and the ladies skirts a swirl of colors that wrap around and around until everyone is on the dance floor . . . school tomorrow but fun tonight . . . not enough fun but better than none at all
