Off for the weekend and possibly for life at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove, Florida. Afternoons to sip sherry alternating with ice cold Coca Colas and platters of deviled eggs. Pageants were very popular 1915-1925 ish. Some were put on by clubs, some by schools and others by houses of worship or cities and towns. Also popular at the same time were tableaux vivant which look very similar in the pictures but more of the participants were children and teenagers.
