Nearly forgotten but glorious art, envisionings and historical oddments from the back corners of the internet
Gardens of Flatbush back before they built the big Sears Roebuck store. Flatbush is part of Brooklyn, a borough of New York City. These images are from 1908; I’m not sure how accurate they are. My mother was a baby in a different part of Brooklyn but they moved long before she could have remember the neighbors’ flower beds.
