“Papillon” conch shell vase with a stylized seaweed foot with runners extending up the side of the shell. The shell finished in gold iridescent oil spots with pink highlights. Smoker sets. Mostly Jugendstil. One by Josef Hoffmann for the Wiener Werkstätte. Almost makes me want to start smoking again (not).

Glasses in jewel-colored glass with silver overlays. So pretty they almost don’t need flowers. Art Nouveau from the turn of the century a few centuries back. Made by Alvin Silver which imported the glass vases and applied the silver overlay, by a process they held the patent for.
