Fancy eye baths (baignore d’yeux) all in porcelain. Whether they help your eyes more than the plastic CVS kind I don’t know but for sure these are more fun to look at.

Porcelain with young women draped over it for life. Austrian. Ernst Wahliss. Living from 1837 to 1900, Wahliss started out in sales for a porcelain factory, Founding his own ceramics firm in what is now Czechoslovakia, he launched a store called “Wahliss” in Vienna and exported porcelain across Europe while being Vienna’s leading porcelain dealer.

Glammed up porcelain with more than a touch of gold. First Empire in style. Made by Marc Schœlcher (1766-1832). Born in Alsace, he had a porcelain factory and a salesroom on the Boulevard des Italiens in Paris.

Designs for Minton by Scotsman Christopher Dresser. Porcelain. Living from 1834 to 1904, he trained as a botanist but also made some wonderful art. All of these with a lot of blue but he worked in pink and brown too.
