The Student Union at the University of Arkansas that these were part of was built as part of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal. The building is still there, now it is called Memorial Hall or Futrall Memorial Hall. The current Student Union was built in 1972. The 1939 building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
