The bibliothèques spécialisées de Paris website where I found these has further information about the Ballet Günther de Munich that is listed as a further description with the four photographs on their site. They state that the Günther Ballets of Munich had been well known to the French public since the 1937 International Exhibition which had been held in Paris. They add futher that the choreography was by Dorothée Günther with Gunild Keetman being the musical director.
Learn more about Ms. Günther at the link below. She formed several different dance troupes over time. I’m sorry. I know little of German dance companies in the 20th century or I’d try to figure out which one this might be. http://www.elisarolle.com/queerplaces/ch-d-e/Dorothee%20G%C3%BCnther.html

Please note that these are all part of one lot in the book dealer’s website. There are scanned pages on the site which feature some of the young women seen here, and in these cases, I have transcribed the description from the program. That’s why some of these descriptions are more detailed than others.

The Lunts themselves had no connection with Bryn Mawr. However, American playwright and theatrical producer Theresa Helburn (1887-1959) was a graduate of Bryn Mawr College class of 1908. Helburn had a long and distinguished career on Broadway and was a co-founder and producer of the New York Theatre Guild from 1919 to the 1950s. This collection includes over 1100 photographs related to Helburn’s work on behalf of the Theatre Guild. Which explains why these photographs have ended up in the archives of a college located outside Philadelphia.
According to the archive out in California, Ed Fletcher was a noted San Diego land developer, civic leader, and member of the California State Senate. It looks like his family had a weekend/holiday/vacation retreat at Cuyamaca Lake where these pictures were taken. The picture span the time period ca. 1915 into the 1960s.
