Rhodea Japonica, a species of Japanese lily all living in pots, at least here. From Inoue Gensuke 1883 (Meiji 16) work “Omoto Chasei Chūkei.” Taken from the website of rare book firm Boston Book Company some of whose books I got to visit in person at the antiquarian book fair earlier this month. Copperplates, possibly also with stenciling and wood engraving.
