Nearly forgotten but glorious art, envisionings and historical oddments from the back corners of the internet
More graphics from the online archives of the Wiener Werkstätte. These by Carl Otto Czeschka (1878-1960) who was also a member of the Vienna Secession.
On a voyage to see how much mileage I can get from the creative ability and eye for images that my family thought was useless. On line art curator, fiction writer and now blogger. Historian's daughter. Follow me . . .even I have no idea where I'm going next.

Extraordinary. Enthralling. Enchanting. And so much, much more. Simply fascinated by the exquisite graphics. The artistry and detail of the elaborate yet delicate design. Could keep me busy for quite sometime just exploring all of the hidden intricacies and innuendo.
Yes. Pretty much loving everything from that era. Not sure why they didn’t cover it in art history class. But we can see it now. And thank you. I think it’s enthralling too.
Hi Sarah , I’ve just messaged you on first dibs, I have a framed image from Carl Otto Czeschka and wondered if you advise on its value?
Kind regards
Carla

Hi Carla. I am sorry but I don’t have the expertise or knowledge to advise on the value of artwork. Sorry about that, Sarah.
