Porcelain centerpiece modeled as two kneeling winged female figures holding wreaths, supporting a pierced navette-shaped basket, on an octagonal base. Pair of hard-paste porcelain campana (campagna) form vases with upward-turned bell-shaped bodies which stand on splayed feet, set on square bases. Both being mounted with two small handles which take the form of classical masks. Gilt, the vases are decorated with colorful and intricate paintings. Their lower bands being encircled by red and white painted bands which frame gilt flower wreaths and the vases’ bodies featuring white, pink and gold paintings of lyres, which are topped by doves and flanked by griffins and swans with these paintings set against green grounds, within oval blue-banded borders. Stylized white and gold foliage banks, against green backgrounds, decorate the mouths of the vases. ca. 1810. Empire. Made in Paris, France by Dihl et Guérhard. Maker’s marks on the base.
